– GENERATING AWARENESS OF A PURPOSE-DRIVEN ORGANIZATION’S SERVICES TO A DIVERSE COMMUNITY
Solstice Community Solar was founded on the belief that every American household can be powered by affordable renewable energy. How? By putting renewable energy in the hands of the 90 million American households that can’t install solar panels.
Solstice Community Solar installs solar arrays in a centralized location where local residents can enroll at no additional costs.
The organization’s value proposition to consumers: “By enrolling in community solar, you will not only go green and save, but you will also support your local economy by helping to create local jobs and tax revenue.”
Summary
Three advertising videos. The goals were to generate awareness of the organization (who they are, what they do, and why), generate awareness of the Community Solar program (how it works, and how it benefits various target audiences) in a racially diverse community in Chicago. Our work was guided by our instructors, Gary Greenbaum and Christina Inge, who made her company’s office available for the setting of the video ads.
